Ryan Kwanten earned a business degree at the University of Sydney. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, and is the oldest of three brothers.
Despite the southern accent Kwanten pulls off as Jason Stackhouse in True Blood, he is actually an Australian actor!
In 1997 he played Josh Morgan in Spellbinder: The Land of the Dragon Lord, and from 1997 to 2002, Kwanten played a major role on Australia's soap opera, Home and Away.
His first major U.S. role was portraying Jay Robertson in Summerland, followed by his role as Jason Stackhouse in True Blood.
