Lucy Hale is from Memphis, Tennessee. Before acting, she was an aspiring musician, and finished in the top five on American Juniors.
At the start of her professional acting career, she made appearances on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, Drake and Josh, The O.C., How I Met Your Mother, and Wizards of Waverly Place.
Since then, the has acted in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, Privileged, Fear Island, Bionic Woman, Sorority Wars, Scream 4, and currently plays main character, Aria Montgomery in Pretty Little Liars.
