He is most known for his role as Mike Delfino in Desperate Housewives. He has also made guest appearances on Sliders, Dark Skies, Two Guys and a Girl, Ally McBeal, The West Wing, and JAG, in addition to his recurring roles on The Pretender, Philly, The Drew Carey Show, and Reba.

He has also been in the films That Old Feeling, Face/Off, and Primary Colors.
