MOST RIDUCULOUS SPELL
MOST RIDICULOUS SPELL: Recognize the dude in this photo? Well, you probably shouldn't. He's a Heretic. We're not sure if this counts as an actual spell or not, but we figure the mythology is so screwy at this point that it doesn't really matter. Hands down, the existence of the Heretics as vampire/witch mixtures (hybrids, if you will) was the stupidest spell TVD churned out this season. After all, it's one of the cardinal rules of magic that you cannot be both a witch and a vampire, right? Wrong. Because screw continuity!

BEST JOB SECURITY ON TELEVISION
BEST JOB SECURITY ON TELEVISION: Kat Graham. Elena isn't coming back unless Bonnie dies. And we know Nind Dobrev isn't coming back. So congrats, Bon Bon! No dying for you before the series is over.

LEAST AFFECTIONATE MOTHER
LEAST AFFECTIONATE MOTHER: Lily Salvatore. The most affectionate mother, Sheriff Forbes, was human and killed off in very human fashion, while Lily the heartless bitch found her way out of a prison world and a way to reuinte with her family. Oh no, not her natural born sons, but her weird adopted family of heretics (of which Enzo was to be a part). As for her real sons, she really couldn't care less.

MOST UNDERUSED CHARACTER
MOST UNDERUSED CHARACTER: Michael Malarkey was made a series regular ... and then scarcely used throughout the season. But we have high hopes for next year, considering the bond Lily has formed with Enzo. Sorry, we mean Lorenzo. See the look in his eyes? That's shock and fear of being sidelined with various, unknown and unworthy Savlatore women for all of Season 6.
