Disney+ is poised to be the next big success story in the streaming market.
With TV shows based on well-known brands and a lot of legacy content that you can't find anywhere else, the service has a lot going for it.
We've rounded up the big announcements about the streamer below.

Launch Date
The new streaming service will launch Tuesday, November 12. A global expansion is planned, but the rollout is said to take around two years.

How Much Will it Cost?
$6.99 per month and the service will be ad-free. There will also be an annual option on offer for $69.99. Disney notes that there's a chance it could bundle Disney+ with Hulu and ESPN for one price, and that it could result in a discount. We're intrigued!

What About Downloads?
All Disney+ content will be downloadable. Hooray, right?
4.
The Simpsons Have a New (Streaming) Home!
Disney+ will become the exclusive streaming home of The Simpsons. That means past seasons will be removed from Hulu.

A Live Action Star Wars TV Series is Coming!
A live-action Star Wars TV show will be available at launch. It is called The Mandalorian. Another Star Wars series is already in the works.
6.
A New Lady & The Tramp Movie
This classic movie is getting the live-action treatment, starring Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux will be available at launch.

Star Wars Galore!
All of the Star Wars movies will be available!
8.
Pixar Fans Unite
Every single Pixar movie will be available on the service. That includes the Pixar shorts.

Togo
Togo is an original film starring Willem Dafoe. It tells the real-life story of a man and his lead sled dog’s journey through the Alaskan tundra. It will launch within the first year of Disney+.

Timmy Failure: The Movie!
Timmy Failure is based on Stephen Pastis’ illustrated book. Yes, it's getting the movie treatment.

Marvel!
There are new Marvel TV series on the way.
There's The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye,

Marvel’s What If…?

Love, Simon TV Series
Disney+ will also be home to a TV follow-up of Love, Simon.
