Donna Paulsen -- Suits
Donna is an executive assistant and one of the most formidable minds at Pearson,
Specter, Litt. She worked for Harvey until their falling out in Season 5 and she moved on with Louis Litt. She's a trusted ally to pretty much everyone and the go-to gal for all of the associates. She's invaluable.

Miss Jane Hathaway -- The Beverly Hillbillies
Miss Jane worked for Mr. Drysdale, the Clampetts' neighbor, banker and confident and while she always carried out her bosses wishes, she was secretly fond of the Clampetts and they considered her family.

Jonathan -- 30 Rock
Jonathan was Jack's assistant and had an obsessive admiration for him, which led to a feeling of disdain for Liz, who he believed wasn't worthy of Jack's attention.

Agnes DiPesto -- Moonlighting
Agnes was the loyal and quirky receptionist for the Blue Moon Detective Agency. She always answered the phone in a rhyme.

Della Street -- Perry Mason
Perry Mason's secretary had to be as on top of things as Mason himself and Della Street fit that bill. She's shrewd and smart and never missed a beat. She's the essence of efficiency.

Jennifer Marlowe -- WKRP in Cincinnatti
As the station receptionist, she takes calls. She does not take dictation, type letters, make or get coffee. She says she's a member of the Sisterhood of Blond Receptionists and if someone saw their minimum salary, they'd have a heart attack and die. As she explains in one episode, "I am a receptionist. Receptionists receive. They offer comfort, provide support, answer a few telephone calls. But they do not type, unless it's for a very good cause."

Pam was the receptionist and eventually office administrator on The Office. She started out as a temp and remarked, "I don't think it's many little girls' dream to be a receptionist."

Karen rarely does any work, but to get away from Stan and the kids she acts as Grace's personal assistant and eventually takes a job, before getting fired, as Jack's assistant at "Out TV."

Betty was the personal assistant to Daniel Meade, Mode Magazine's new Editor-in Chief. Not bad for a gal that most of the world considers to be unattractive. She showed them!

Dennis Finch -- Just Shoot Me
The executive assistant to Blush Managazine owner Jack Gallow, he had a singular devotion to the man and a unique rapport that allowed him to see his boss' every need before it became one. He didn't however, want to be recognized on an episode called "Secretary's Day." Take that as you will!

Carol was fiery, lovelorn and wisecracking, the perfect foil to Bob!

oan wasn't a secretary, but was resposible for making the office run and as such she kicked ass. It's safe to say there probably wouldn't be a company without her and despite the way she made partner, she put in the hard work to get there.

Unlike his previous assistants, Lloyd was able to endure Ari's personal jabs. Little by little Lloyd gets under Ari's skin and eventually earns a promotion.

Elaine was the typical sexy secretary. She loved to go the bar after work and sing. She was sassy and picked fights with Ally, but they eventually became friends. She also invented the face bra.

Carrie Heffernan -- The King of Queens
Carrie worked as a legal secretary for seven years before being let go at the same time as her boss and also as a secretary in a real estate office. She worked hard for her money!

Kitty was George Bluth's personal assistant. She was also his confidant and mistress!

Timmy Patel -- Rules of Engagement
Timmy was Russell's assistant and the two enjoyed verbal sparring. It appeared Timmy stayed in the job merely to see Russell get his comeuppance, but when Russell needed a green card in the season finale, the two of them wed. Awww.

Lucy had a high pitched voice, was slightly immature and worked at the Sheriff's department. She dated the deputy sheriff and cheated on him, to boot. Whoops.

Cheryl Tunt -- Archer
Cheryl is Malory's secretary at ISIS. She used to change her name often to please those in her presence. Her computer skills are such that she types O N to turn on the thing. She does, however, sleep around, fetch food and greet guests upon arrival at the office. Hatred for her coworkers gets her out of bed in the morning.
