At a trip to Loaves and Fishes, June comes face to face with the first veiled handmaid in her region. The handmaids are forced to gather and perform executioner duties at a public hanging. Ofmatthew's pleasant demeanor was short lived, and she is back to her pious nature in full force. June finds a way to communicate with the McKenzie's Martha, and she informs her that a guard at Hannah's school will help June to see her. The Martha also informs June that Hannah is now referred to as Agnes. The Swiss question Emily about her crimes commited in Gilead. When Sylvia tried to talk to Emily, she shuts down. Moira does manage to get Emily to not only talk, but attend a protest as well. A protest that lands them both in jail. Olivia takes Serena on a tour of a deserted house in D.C. Fred discovers that Commander Winslow has an ulterior motive where Nichole is concerned. June convinces Eleanor to go with her on her quest to see her daughter. Eleanor's adventure results in a negative impact to her mental health. Commander Lawrence is not pleased, but surprisingly, is at a loss for words. June comes to the realization that her actions have brought harm to someone, once again.
