Wassner's widow, Robin, lets Deeks and Rountree look at Eli's letters to her. Adebayo defends her hardnosed leadership style to Kensi and Fatima. Deeks and Rountree conclude that Wassner didn't write his suicide note, making his death a murder. They break the news to Robin. Robin said Adebayo had been supportive of Eli in the past. Kensi blames herself for misreading Adebayo. Kam lets slip that she and Josh broke up. Anna and Callen discover how little they had agreed upon about the wedding. Kensi informs Adebayo that Wassner was murdered. Petty Officer Bradshaw was seen in the area where Wassner was found. Preliminary autopsy results show Wassner was strangled. Bradshaw is connected to a bar owner, Rondel Fryer, with connections to China. Sam joins Rountree to interrogate Fryer, Bradshaw is injured in a flight-deck accident. Fryer runs a gay speakeasy in the back of his bar, for closeted military and celebrities. Hughes lied about Bradshaw's accident. They're a couple. Hughes threatens to kill himself and admits he accidentally killed Wassner. Kilbride explains the impact of the don't-ask-don't-tell policy on the military. Sam returns to talk with Kam. When Sam confronts her, Kam admits that she's seeing a woman and isn't sure if she might be bisexual. Then she tells him about Riley.
