A guy from Kamekona's high school days shows up for a visit after his release from prison. You can tell that is not really a friend as Kamekona is not that happy to see him.

We find out that Levi is the guy that led him to crime as his henchman. Levi doesn't like to do the dirty work himself. Kamekona did this to help his single mother with the bills.

Levi now wants to pick up where they left off before they were both sent to prison. Kamekona only agrees to it because he is working for Five-0 to help take him down and send him back to prison for good.

Unfortunately, Levi has also recruited Kamekona's little brother. We see the little brother in flashbacks when Kamekona is cooking breakfast for him on a table top grill. He wants his brother to have a good meal before he leaves for the day. Now Levi wants the little brother to kill Kamekona after he finds out that he has done him wrong. The brother can't do it and ends up killing Levi instead.

Steve and Danny go to Maui for what is supposed to be a partner workshop to help them get along better. They find out on arrival that Steve has signed up for a couples workshop instead.

They still learn some things about their relationship and that maybe it really isn't that bad.

Adam gets a visit from Kono to fill him in on what has been going on with Gabriel. He also gets a visit from Gabriel. Not sure what Gabriel wants from Adam, but it doesn't sound good.
