The Spencer Sisters
Wednesdays 9:00 PM on The CWDarby Spencer Quotes
Darby: Why didn’t you tell this guy to take a hike? You were happy to tell the millennials to get lost.
Victoria: Because I’m stuck. My last two books were flops, and I’m afraid the ride is over. I’m not relevant anymore.
Darby: Who else would have done this? Do you have a rival or a jealous ex? Did you have a major falling out with someone that I don’t know about for some weird reason?
Antonio: Wait. I know someone who might hate me enough to do this.
Victoria: Don’t worry. I’ve got your back. I’ll help you figure this out.
Darby: Absolutely. We will help you figure this out.
Antonio: Thank you both. I didn’t know who else to turn to.
Zane: I didn’t know you didn’t know.
Darby: So you’re pals with my mom now?
Darby: Wait a minute. You’re going to change my bedroom into an office.
Victoria: It’s an ideal space.
Darby: For me to sleep in.
Victoria: There are plenty of other rooms in the house, honey.
Darby: I’m not just your kid moving back into the house. I’m a grown woman with my own life. It’s about you not respecting my boundaries.
Victoria: If we’re talking about boundaries, I need you to respect my writing time. I need peace and quiet to concentrate. After all, Bryn Martel still pays the bills around here.
Victoria: You know, I’ve always been interested in virtual reality.
Darby: Your whole life is a viral reality.
Victoria: This is my writing room. I need to write.
Darby: There are plenty of other rooms in the house, honey.
Victoria: Not going to happen.
Victoria: We’re going to a morgue. No one wants to be there. You’re so uptight. That’s what living in the city does to a person. You have to take your cop cap off and start thinking like a PI.
Daby: Fine. But if we get arrested, you’re covering bail.
Darby: Sounds like we should start with them.
Victoria: Let’s start with Noelle. She’s the eldest and the most difficult. You two should get along swimmingly.
Victoria: What are you trying to say?
Darby: Nothing. It’s just no wonder he’s made some questionable life choices. People do crazy things to be seen and loved.
I don’t know why I feel guilty. So, she has to eat dinner alone. Do you know how many dinners I had to eat alone as a kid when she was promoting a book?
