Bell had an interesting arc during the first season. He had many appalling moments but also many redeeming ones. He may be the most intriguing character to watch in this upcoming season because fans never know where to stand with Bell.
Micah and Mina is the 'ship no one saw coming, but how can you not adore them together? Micah brought all those feelings Mina buries deep down inside to the surface. She's quite fond of him, and he is fond of her as well. Will the two of them last? Fingers are crossed that they do!
Bell has his work cut out for him whipping Chastain into shape. However, Marshall may put a dent in his plans. If Conrad and Bell butted heads often, what will it be like with Conrad's dad running the board?
Uh-oh, it looks like Tate Ellington's character took a spill down the hospital stairs. Don't you hate it when that happens? Devon is there to help him up and get to the bottom of what's ailing him. No pun intended, of course.
Micah appears to be recovering from his surgery well. Fortunately for him, he has both Nic and Conrad checking in on him. Who wants to bet the two of them are casually flirting while tending to him though? It's OK, everyone in the hospital 'ships CoNic including most of Chastain's favorite patients.
Bell has to come up with a game plan when the hospital is forced to treat patients without technology. Under Bell's orders, Chastain will have to stop taking new patients and transfer the patients that are on life support. It's cute how he thinks Conrad can do that. Conrad can't simply turn patients away. It's not in his nature.
AJ's personality is an acquired taste, but he's damn good at his job. Having a world-renowned cardiothoracic surgeon may come in handy when a blackout causes chaos in the hospital. Right now, this patient, played by guest star Tate Ellington, has AJ's undivided attention.
Conrad is talented, compassionate, determined and dedicated. He's also incredibly attractive. How does the man make scrubs look so good? It should be criminal. Fans cannot wait to have Czuchry heating up the screen.
Devon dazzles with a compassionate bedside manner that puts all of his patients at ease. That includes this particular patient played by guest star Adrienne Whitney Papp. Is she connected to the child who Devon and Conrad will defy orders to treat?
Mina is glowing in this still from the season premiere. Mina developed feelings for Micah last season, and despite a health scare, Micah lived to see another day. Has Mina figured out that work/love/life balance that she didn't bother entertaining before?
Devon found his place and made his mark at Chastain by the end of the first season. What will The Resident's sophomore season have in store for him? Can we expect to learn more about our favorite intern? Hopefully!
Resident Fanatics rejoiced when news broke that Malcolm-Jamal Warner was upped to series regular. As if more AJ Austin isn't awesome enough, that also means more of that irresistible working relationship between Mina and the Raptor.
Colleague: Mr. Bell, why is this happening? Bell: It's Dr. Bell. I recommend thinking before you speak. If that's too much of a challenge, don't speak.
Mr. Toms, your wife brought these beautiful twins into this world together. It's my mission to reunite them in a few hours, and I am not in the losing mood. Rarely am I.
