Spencer James faces a difficult decision that could transform his reputation on All American. "Hussle & Motivate" is the first episode of the show's second season.
Where is Jordan headed? He appears to be traveling somewhere. Is that a recruiter approaching him? He's come a long way and worked hard on his game. We expect good things in his future.
Layla hasn't been the same since her house was robbed, but it looks like she's at least managed to go back home. Still, she's clearly upset about something. What is she reading?
Billy has to keep his focus on the championship game, but we're betting that isn't easy to do with all the drama in his home life. Will he be able to win back his family's trust? He'll have to face some tough truths to get them back.
Who would have thought Spencer would be hugging his father after all these years of him not being in his life? Maybe it's time for Spencer to let go of his anger and give his dad another chance.
It's unclear if this moment is before the game or after the potential injury. Either way it looks like Corey is giving Spencer a pep talk. If it's after the injury, we hope he's able to help him cope. He'll be devastated if he can't finish the game.
Grace has made her way to the locker room to check on Spencer, but she seems to be holding back so he doesn't see her. Maybe she doesn't know what to say to make him feel better, or perhaps she feels he needs a moment alone.
Spencer is all alone in the locker room, which cannot be a good thing. Is he done for the game? If he is hurt, hopefully the injury is one he will recover from and still be able to play next year.
Corey is on his feet with his own expression of concern. He's most likely heading down to the field or the locker room to check on Spencer. We hope he is okay!
It's no surprise that Corey is at Spencer's championship game now that he's making an effort to be back in his life. He's showing his support for his son and his team like any father would.
Spencer: What the hell are you doing? Jordan: I'm picking you up. Spencer: In your red car, in your red hat? You're like a Bloods poster board man, you're gonna get your head blown off! [laughs] I'm just playing. I'm just playing.
Billy: Take it from me, my experience. Every player out there is just one injury away from needing a backup plan. Spencer: I appreciate the offer Coach, but I don't need a backup. This is where I belong.
