Peter Hornberger is a character played by Scott Adsit on 30 Rock.

Pete is a producer for TGS with Tracy Jordan. He works closely with head writer Liz Lemon he has known for 10 years.

Pete generally plays the straight man to the other characters, especially to Liz when she is temporarily pushed over the edge.

He seems to be the only competent person around.
