One of Chicago's finest, Kevin Atwater climbed the ranks from patrol to the Intelligence Unit, working beneath Hank Voight. He's often a bit of a moral center on the unit, one of the team members who has blurred the lines the least. He's often grappled with what it means to be a Black man on the police force, standing in between his Brothers in Blue and his community, occasionally running into conflict from both sides.
