Bill Compton

Stephen Moyer stars as Bill Compton on HBO's True Blood.  Bill is a vampire living in Bon Temps, Lousiana that meets Sookie Stackhouse when he goes into her bar.

Their relationship takes off from there, managaing to survive through a number of obstacles. Compton was turned vampire during the Civil War and was forced to leave his human wife as a result.

In Bon Temps, he must answer to his Sheriff, Eric Northman.
