TV Ratings Report: In The Dark Has Weak Debut
Paul Dailly at .The CW premiered In The Dark on Thursday night, and the new series did not get off to the best of starts.
In The Dark Season 1 Episode 1 scored 0.9 million total viewers and a 0.2 rating, down from Legacies Season 1's average in the slot this season (1 million total viewers/0.3 rating).
Granted, Legacies had a stronger Supernatural as a lead-in. Supernatural matched series lows on the night with 1.3 million total viewers and a 0.3 rating.
Over on CBS, The Big Bang Theory (11.9 million/1.9 rating), Young Sheldon (10.3 million/1.4 rating), Mom (7.8 million/1.1 rating), Fam (5 million/0.7 rating), and S.W.A.T. (4.7 million/0.7 rating) were down from their last fresh episodes.
Over on ABC, Grey's Anatomy (6.8 million/1.5 rating) and For The People (3.1 million/0.6 rating) were steady with their most recent ratings, while Station 19 (5.3 million/0.9 rating) was down a tenth.
Superstore (3.1 million/0.8 rating), A.P. Bio (2 million/0.5 rating), Will & Grace (3 million/0.7 rating), Abby's (2.1 million/0.5 rating), and Law & Order: SVU (3.9 million/0.8 rating) were also steady.
