TV Ratings Report: Celebrity Big Brother Premieres Way Down
Paul Dailly at .CBS took viewers back to one of the most famous houses on TV.
Big Brother: Celebrity Edition launched with 5.4 million total viewers and a 1.4 rating in the demo.
These figures are way down from last February's 7.3 million total viewers and a 1.8 rating it scored for its series premiere.
All told, these figures are still above the freshman run's average, so the true test will be whether the show holds up in the coming nights.
What's more, the new season was trounced by The Bachelor (6 million/1.6 rating) and America's Got Talent: Champions (9.7 million/1.6 rating).
Elsewhere, Magnum P.I. (5.3 million/0.7 rating) matched series lows, while Bull (6.7 million/0.8 rating) inched up a tenth.
Manifest (5.4 million/1.0 rating) ticked up a tenth vs. last week's series low.
Over on Fox, The Resident (5.4 million/1.0 rating) lost a tenth, while The Passage (4.3 million/1.0 rating) lost three-tenths.
The Good Doctor (6.2 million/1.2 rating) was steady for ABC, while Arrow (1.3 million/0.4 rating) and Black Lightning (1 million/0.3 rating) were on par with their season averages.
