TV Ratings Report: American Idol Finale Tops The Voice
Paul Dailly at .American Idol is still a hit.
The revived format concluded its first season on ABC last night with 8.7 million viewers and a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49.
That was enough to beat out NBC's The Voice which secured 8.6 million viewers and a 1.5 rating.
Elsewhere on ABC, Dancing with the Stars: Athletes (8.7 million/1.1 rating) inched up a tenth.
The CW: Supergirl (1.8 million/0.5 rating) and iZombie (1 million/0.3 rating) were both steady in the demo.
CBS: Man with a Plan (5.7 million/1.0 rating) was steady, but Elementary (4.2 million/0.5 rating) dipped.
Fox: Miss USA (2.4 million/0.6 rating) coverage was down double digits year-to-year.
