TV Ratings Report: Riverdale Drops
Paul Dailly at .Riverdale (1.8 million/0.6 rating) is still a hit for The CW, but it dropped 25 percent vs. last week's premiere.
Those figures still mark the second-highest ratings the show has ever pulled in, so there really is nothing to worry about.
After that, Dynasty (1 million/0.3 rating) lost one-tenth vs. last week's series premiere. If it holds at those figures in the finals, it could still get a back order. Any more slippage and the road will be murkier for the soapy drama.
Fox: Empire (5.5 million/1.8 rating) and Star (4.3 million/1.3 rating) continued to descend.
CBS: Survivor (8 million/1.7 rating) and Criminal Minds (5.9 million/1.1 rating) were relatively steady, but SEAL Team (7 million/1.0 rating) shed two more tenths and will likely be fractional in the next few weeks.
NBC: The Blacklist (5.3 million/0.9 rating) and Law & Order: SVU (5.6 million/1.2 rating) were both steady, but Chicago PD (5.7 million/1.1 rating) lost one-tenth.
ABC: The Goldbergs (5.5 million/1.4 rating), Speechless (4.3 million/1.1 rating) and American Housewife were steady, but Modern Family (6.1 million/1.7 rating) and Designated Survivor (4.4 million/0.8 rating) dropped.
