TV Ratings Report: The Muppets Revamp Fails To Reverse Ratings Crisis

The return episode managed just 2.7 million viewers and a 0.8 rating. That's down over a million viewers from the final episode of 2015.The cancelation clock is ticking on this one.
Before The Muppets, Fresh Off The Boat managed 5.2 million viewers and a 1.4 rating. These numbers are way up from where it ended in 2015. Agent Carter then hit a series low with 2.8 million viewers and a 0.8 rating. Closing the disappointing night for ABC, was What Would You Do? at 2.3 million and a 0.7 rating.
And elsewhere around the dial:
- On Fox, New Girl (3 million/1.4 rating) and Grandfathered (2.6 million/1.0 rating) were steady, but both Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2.2 million/1.0 rating) and The Grinder (1.7 million/0.6 rating) slid to lows.
- On NBC, Hollywood Game Night (4.3 million/1.1 rating), Chicago Med (7.7 million/1.6 rating) and Chicago Fire (8.2 million/1.8 rating) were in line with last week.
- On CBS, Superbowl Commercials 2016 (11.4 million/2.0 rating) was strong. Then an NCIS (7.5 million/1.2 rating) encore closed the night for the eye network.
- And on The CW, The Flash (3.7 million/1.4 rating) and iZombie (1.7 million/0.6 rating) were even.
