NBC has confirmed that the full cast of Friends will reunite on TV for the first time since their iconic sitcom went off the air in 1994, coming back together on February 21 for a two-hour special.
It will honor director James Burrows, the man behind the camera for numerous episodes of Friends, Cheers, Taxi and other beloved programs.
He recently directed his 1,000 episode of television.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry will all be on hand for the tribute.
"I'm hoping all six will be in same room at same time," Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt told reports at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, cautioning:
"I'm not sure we can logistically can pull it off."
The star-studded special will also include cast members Taxi, Cheers, Frasier and Will & Grace.
It is slated to tape later this month in Los Angeles and air on Sunday, February 21 at 9/8c.
