Forever Receives Full Season Order from ABC
Carissa Pavlica at .Forever may not be immortal, but it has received an extended life.
Despite dwindling ratings since the premiere delivered the best Tuesday premiere in the time slot in four years, ABC has ordered a full season of the freshman series.
The time slot isn't a great one for ABC, and the last three shows there have been canceled, including Lucky 7, Killer Women and Mind Games.
Apparently Live+7 numbers give Forever Season 1 a lot more respectability, raising the ratings from about 5 million viewers and a 1.1 in the 18-49 market to a decent 8.8 million eyes and 2.2 rating.
That was enough earn the back nine, so you can rest easy (until spring, at least) that Ioan Griffudd and Judd Hirsch will be solving crimes and defying death through the end of the season!
That's not only a reason to celebrate, but for those of your doubters to catch up. You can watch Forever online via TV Fanatic to do it!
In case you missed it, the news wasn't so great for another ABC series, as Selfie was canceled and its future episodes beyond next week remain uncertain.
