TV Ratings Report: Did The 100 Return Strong?
Matt Richenthal at .The 100 returned to The CW last night with mixed results.
The Season 2 opener drew 1.6 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating among 18-49-year olds, both of which were sharp declines from last year’s premiere.
However, these figures were even with the last time The 100 followed a new Arrow.
And speaking of Arrow Season 3 Episode 2, it increased by 9 percent among total viewers, pulling in a solid 2.5 million.
Elsewhere around the dial...
- On CBS, Survivor (9.1 million/2.2) held mostly steady, while Criminal Minds (9.8 million/2.4) and Stalker (7.3 million/1.7) both dropped in overall viewers
- ON NBC, all three dramas - The Mysteries of Laura (8.1 million/1.3), Law & Order: SVU (7.2 million/1.6) and Chicago P.D. (6.8 million/1.5) dropped a tenth in the key advertising demographic.
- ON ABC, The Middle (7.2 million/2.0) and The Goldbergs (7 million/2.2) held firm compared to last week, while Modern Family (10 million/3.3) dropped a tenth and black-ish (8 million/2.5) rose 16 percent in total audience. Finally, Nashville Season 3 Episode 5 (5.4 million/1.4) increased by 8 percent and a tenth, respectively.
