Parks and Recreation Season 7: On the Way!

at .

Chris and Ann may be leaving Parks and Recreation, but NBC President Robert Greenblatt made it clear today:

Leslie Knope and company won't be going anywhere any time soon.

"Parks and Rec is going to have a seventh season," Greenblatt said today at the 2014 Winter TCA Press Tour

What about NBC's other Thursday night sitcoms, such as Community, The Michael J. Fox Show and Sean Saves the World?

There's a "strong" possibility that Community will get a sixth season (and a movie?), while Greenblatt likes Fox and Sean "a lot," and the network is "still going to work hard to see what we can do on Thursday nights."

However, he also admits, it's been "a real uphill battle" to get households to tune in.

As for The Michael J. Fox Show's in particular, Greenblatt said: "Obviously we're going to have to see how it plays out the next few months…but it's certainly not anywhere near where we expect it to be."

Finally, any word on a Parenthood renewal?

"It's a show we love, it's doing really well, creatively, and we love Jason Katims," he said. "Everything's relative, but it's actually done better on Thursday at 10 than several things we've had there. I'm hopeful that we can get it to another season."

Parks & Rec Quotes

Tom: I meet a girl at a bar. She seems kind of into me, could go either way. I get her number. It's two days later. What do I text her?
Zach: It was nice meeting you.
Tom: No, Zach. I don't text her it was nice meeting you. I wait eight weeks and I text her, "what's crackin'?"

Ron: Who the hell is 'Fwarp'?
April: I don't know. I couldn't really hear him. It sounded like his name was Fwarp.
Ron: Get his number?
April: No.
Ron: Good girl.
