Matt Richenthal at .After a pair of underwhelming episodes, CBS has pulled the plug on We Are Men.
The sitcom - which starred Chris Smith, Jerry O'Connell, Kal Penn and Tony Shalhoub as singles living in the same apartment complex - debuted to 6.4 million viewers and then fell to 5.4 million.
In its place, the network will shift 2 Broke Girls to the 8:30/7:30c timeslot and follow it with reruns of The Big Bang Theory until Mike & Molly returns on November 4.
We Are Men is the second new network series to meet an unhappy fate this fall. ABC yanked Lucky 7 off the air after two disappointing episodes - and Hostages may be next. This CBS drama slid to 5.2 million viewers on Monday and only garnered a 1.2 rating.
