Sam Elliott to Guest Star on Parks and Recreation

Prepare for bizarro Parks and Recreation.

Sam Elliott has been cast on the NBC sitcom in the role of Eagleton's version of Ron Swanson, according to TV Line.

The actor will appear on an early episode of Season 6, the same installment that finds Kristen Bell appearing as a neighboring councilwoman who is just like Leslie Knope... except she dresses a lot better.
