Sons of Anarchy Season Four: Extended By One Episode
Steve Marsi at .FX is extending Sons of Anarchy's fourth season by one week.
Calling the current campaign “creatively, Sons’ best and biggest season ever,” FX executive vice president Nick Grad announced that the network has green-lit a 14th episode.
The Sons of Anarchy Season 4 finale is now set for December 6.
Sons of Anarchy will also be back for a fifth season next year.
"This is a real bonus for fans of the series,” Grad continued.
“[Creator] Kurt [Sutter] asked us to consider adding an extra episode to fully close this current chapter of the Sons saga. By adding the extra episode, it wraps up a magnificent season in extraordinary fashion."
Just last week, Sutter vented about the situation on Twitter, writing that the network was unable to accommodate “a 2-hour finale” or “extend our season [because] programming [is] already set.”
Looks like FX wisely listened to the man!
