Robert California may be one seriously odd individual, but the new Sabre CEO apparently has fantastic taste in women.

Zap2It confirms that Maura Tierney will appear on The Office this season as California's wife, with producer Paul Lieberstein simply saying: "I'm a big fan of hers. I'm very excited."

Tierney got her big break on the comedy Newsradio, but has chosen mostly dramatic roles since then. She starred on ER for 10 years and followed that with stints on Rescue Me and The Whole Truth.
