Desperate Housewives will kick off its final season on September 25.

This is understandably sad news for fans, but once they move past their mourning period, many will be left to wonder: what can we expect in 2011-2012? One nugget: New relationships for Tom and Lynette.

Executive producer Bob Daily has confirmed to TV Guide Magazine that this couple will be separated in the fall, with each side dating someone new. Who is the lucky woman who will be on Tom's arm?

Daily says the series is seeking a "Kate Walsh-type" actress to come on board to portray Jane. Look for her to have a pretty daughter in her 20s that may serve as a love interest for one of Tom's sons. Awkward!
