Farewell, Alexis?

Rick Castle, and fans of this ABC hit, may need to adjust to life without a member of the family next season. That's because Castle creator Andrew Marlowe tells TV Guide he has plans for Alexis.

"[Her boyfriend] is going off to [Stanford]" Marlowe teases. "So how is the long-distance relationship going to work? When we leave Episode 23, Alexis has vowed to go to college early, because she has the credits, so she can be with Ashley."

We can't wait to watch the entertaining way in which her father reacts to that news.
