Hal Holbrook to Recur on The Event

Fresh off filming a stint on Sons of Anarchy, Hal Holbrook has signed on for The Event.

The Emmy Award winner will appear on multiple episode of the NBC drama, Entertainment Weekly reports. He'll play a mysterious character named Dempsey.

The Event premieres on September 20 and TV Fanatic will review each episode in-depth. For now, check out an extended preview for the series.
