Reggie Austin Nabs Role on Desperate Housewives

Desperate Housewives has found a husband for Vanessa Williams.

Reggie Austin, who recurs on Life Unexpected as Jamie, will debut on the ABC show's fifth episode this fall as the baseball playing other half of Williams' Renee Perry.

Named Doug, Austin's character and that of the former Ugly Betty star won't exactly have the happiest marriage on television. It's already been confirmed that Renee will battle with Bree for the affections of a handyman on Wisteria Lane portrayed by Brian Austin Green.

In addition to his role Life Unexpected, Austin has guest-starred on Bones and The Starter Wife.
