Lainie Kazan has nabbed a recurring role on Desperate Housewives.

The veteran actress, who has guest-starred on Ugly Betty and will always be remembered for her role in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, will appear on the September 26 season premiere and recur on the ABC hit as a self-employed business owner.

Look for her character to mostly interact with Susan.
