The latest piece of Bones casting news is a dream come true for horror movie fans.

Or a nightmare, we should say.

Robert Englund has signed on to guest star on a slasher-themed episode of the show this spring. The actor is best known for originating the role of Freddy Krueger.

On the episode, Englund will portray a creepy custodian at Brennan's old high school. After initially planning on skipping her reunion there, Bnes changes her mind when a murder causes her and Booth to investigate the scene.

It was also confirmed this week that American Idol champion Jordin Sparks, among others, will appear on Bones this season.
