Based on a recent interview with producer Brian Peterson, it sounds like there's a good chance Smallville will air a 10th season.

But before fans can get excited about that possibility, they're focusing on February 5. That's the date on which The CW hit airs a special, two-hour episode based around the iconic Justice Society.

It will be titled "Absolute Justice."

The network has released a pair of photos from the movie-like installment. The first features a confrontation between Justin Hartley’s Green Arrow and Michael Shanks’ Hawkman:

The following photo, meanwhile, offers fans a first look at Doctor Fate (Brent Stait) and Stargirl (Britt Irvin):
