Kevin Spirtas will soon reprise the role of Dr. Craig Wesley on the NBC drama for a three-episode arc.

According to Daytime Confidential, here's how his return will be set up:

On an upcoming episode, Kate Roberts will nearly succeed in her attempt to kill Chloe, landing the character in a coma. As a result, Craig comes back for a few days to hold vigil.
