Dolhouse Premieres to Mediocre Ratings

Fox took a risk, airing this highly-anticipated series, from creator Joss Whedon, on Friday nights. After one episode, the jury is still out on whether or not this was a good decision.
Dollhouse drew about the same-sized audience as last week's America's Most Wanted (4.7 million viewers) in the same hour; it finished second from 9-10 p.m. in the 18-49 year-old demographic.
Among other primetime pickings:
- 20/20 (11 million) outdrew The Ghost Whisperer (10.4 million) as the night's most-watched show.
- Sadly, viewers continue to ignore Friday Night Lights (3.5 million). Come on, people!
